Ravi has been an advisor to over five dozen graduate students, including two-dozen PhD students, and is a co-author of 150+ publications and patents.

Vice President & COO of Volta Energy, Inc., with a dozen years of R&D experience in electrochemical engineering and redox flow batteries. Following his Ph.D. from UC Irvine, Sri was a post-doc at Sandia National Laboratories. Thereupon, he worked as a Senior Modeling Engineer at the MIT startup, Sun Catalytix, and then as a Staff Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where he was involved from RFB proof-of-concept to commercial deployment. He leads our development work in flow batteries.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Principal Engineer at Volta Energy, Inc., and leads our efforts in the design and implementation of our novel electrolyzer technology and scaleup. As the founder of Envirowerks, he previously developed liquid alkaline water electrolyzers and methanol electrolyzers for producing onboard hydrogen to boost the engine efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles. His engineering expertise ranges from R&D to product development, design for manufacturing, design for sustainability, and embedded software development.
